What is an eSIM?

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that lets you activate a mobile plan without needing a physical SIM card. It is built directly into your device.

How do I install my eSIM?

After purchasing a plan, you will receive a QR code. Go to your device's Settings → Cellular / Mobile → Add eSIM, then scan the QR code. Your eSIM will be activated within minutes.

Can I use my eSIM and physical SIM at the same time?

Yes. Most dual-SIM devices let you use both simultaneously. You can keep your regular number active while using your Simsiz eSIM for data.

When does my data plan start?

Your plan activates as soon as you connect to a network in the destination country, not at the time of purchase.

What happens when my data runs out?

You can purchase a top-up from your dashboard to add more data to your active eSIM without buying a new plan.

Is my device compatible?

Most smartphones released after 2018 support eSIM. Check our Compatible Devices page for a full list, or look in your Settings for an "Add eSIM" option.

Can I get a refund?

If your eSIM has not been activated, you may be eligible for a refund. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

Do Simsiz plans include calls and SMS?

Simsiz plans are data-only. For calls and SMS, you can use apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, or keep your home SIM active for that purpose.

How do I top up my account balance?

Go to your Dashboard and click "Top up". We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe. Simsiz never stores your card details.
